Hi, again. At the conclusion of my current Tourist Visa, I am anticipating crossing into Cambodia at Hat Lek to look for a new, long-term home. I would like to be able to return to Thailand several times to move belongings and settle affairs. As a U.S. passport holder, would I be allowed to come back into Thailand overland via Hat Lek on a visa-exempt entry (which I understand is different from a visa-on-arrival)? I believe that this is what "visa runners" were found in fault for doing at the start of this whole immigration shake-up but that the regime has decided to restore, at least for now, the old system. I'd be very grateful if someone in-the-know could enlighten me. Thanks.

You can still get a a 30 day (G7 country) visa exempt entry at the border.

Since you will entering after spending a period of time in Cambodia you should not have problem getting them.

You would only have a problem if you were to enter the country and stay for 30 days then leave and immediately return for another entry.

The Cambodian e-visa if you don't have a credit card is there another way to pay?

Payment methods are shown at the bottom of the official online application page: https://www.evisa.gov.kh/ , I see no way to proceed without a payment card of some kind.

Use the "Visa on Arrival" method, you will lose a full page in your passport due to the visa sticker, but save the online processing fee.
