Pattaya Business & Tourism Association Chairman involved in road crash



PATTAYA: -- In the early hours of Thursday, the Chairman of the Pattaya Business and Tourism Association was involved in a road crash involving his Mercedes Benz and a stationary coach.

No injuries were reported although the Benz suffered extensive front-end damage during the impact. It’s driver, Khun Tanaert, refused to explain his actions to the gathered press and the coach driver, Khun Anuchit, confirmed his vehicle was parked on the side of the Sukhumvit Road just after the South Pattaya Road junction.

Because he was driving a Merc and is a "person of standing", he rightfully assumed the stationary bus would move over for him.

A white bus, a well lit road and he hits it head on. Beggars belief.

Investigation will probably reveal that the bus, illegally, was backing up and bus company will be fined and

forced to pay for damages to official's auto plus a huge sum to compensate for pain and suffering. More on the 6 O'clock news !

A short message in the newspaper compare others are involved in anything here in Pattaya.....mhhhh be quite and not speculate about drunken and driving or consumeing drugs! Normaly they do so on any unsolved case! and the photos of acting persons in this case!!!

He was to busy counting the Russian tourists(or lack of them), that he did not spot their bus
