September 12, 201411 yr I have a work permit and I want to transfer money to an account in Europe. I have both Kasikorn and Krungsri. Krungsri says i have to come to their office every time I want to transfer. Kasikorn says I need to come to their office to add an foreign account, and provide various documentations and prove that the transfer is for educational fees, salary earned in Thailand (or sending to thai national living abroad). Are all thai banks really this complicated when it comes to international transfers? The transfers are small. About 60 000 Baht each month. Is there not an easier way?
September 13, 201411 yr Thailand is the Land of Smiles for incoming money; Land of Frowns for outgoing money.
