radka
Hi, I may be coming to Chiang Mai for some fairly extensive dental work during a 2 week period. During my down-time, I wouldn't mind honing my tennis game. Does anyone have recommendations for a tennis facility where I could rent a ball machine by the hour ? Cheers
BuddhaMind
Why don't you "hone" your tennis skills with a good coach? Probably the same price as a ball machine in Thailand. Oh, and I have never seen a ball machine here. But I know many good coaches. PM if you like.

neilrob
I agree, go with a coach. If you go to the 700 year stadium courts, ask the guy at the tennis shop nearest the car park. He is a pleasant guy and a good coach.

beau thai
Or if you want to be closer to the city, you could try Chiang Mai Land- has a big pool too. They will give you contacts for 2 coaches but I havent used either. Be interested to see feedback from other TV readers who have? Nick at 700 stadium is a good call and if he is tied u with the shop, an older guy called Anon will hit balls with you for about 250 baht an hour is usually around. Whether that helps your game depends on your level but it will be hitting practise to keep you sharp I guess.

cardinalblue
If that price is correct, then go with Nic as he is 120b/hour plus 40-60 court fee depending on 700 yr membership... Nick is excellent; don't know about the other guy.... CB
