A 36-year-old Russian man is in critical condition following an assault at a pool villa party in Chon Buri's Nong Prue, Bang Lamung. The attack occurred in the early hours, around 3:16 am, and has left the local and foreign community in shock.

Deputy Inspector Pansan Krongsith of Pattaya City Police Station responded to the emergency call. Upon arriving at the scene, police found the victim unconscious on the floor, suffering from a traumatic head injury. He was quickly given first aid and rushed to the hospital, where his condition remains critical.

According to preliminary accounts from partygoers, the assembled group consisted of four foreign men and two women. They had only just met that day and spontaneously decided to continue their evening at the villa. Piyada, a 22-year-old friend of the victim, recounted that neither the Russian man nor his attacker had prior acquaintance.

Witnesses reported that a heated argument escalated, leading the unknown assailant to punch the Russian man, who then fell and struck his head on the floor. As panic ensued, the attacker managed to flee the scene amidst the commotion.

"We were all shocked and tried to help him as much as we could. Once we gathered our thoughts, we immediately called for assistance," Piyada stated.

The police have issued an urgent manhunt for the suspect based on descriptions provided by witnesses. Surveillance footage from nearby cameras is being reviewed to track the suspect's movements and assist in his capture.

In related news, authorities in Pattaya have detained three security guards following the circulation of a video showing them allegedly assaulting a tourist. This incident has further tarnished Pattaya’s reputation as a safe destination for tourists and prompted calls for stricter measures to ensure public safety.

Who was going to dip a toe in first?

There seems to be a lot more uncontrolled violence in the world these days.

Pretty common occurrence.  The attacker probably thought it was only a punch, but when someone goes down it's easy for them to hit their head on something.

Also a lot more muscle on people.  Guys quite literally don't know their own strength.

Williams’ Thai wife, who goes by the pseudonym Miss Mod, shared that before the events unfolded, her husband had asked her to come to a pool party. She left early to go to work, but returned when her husband texted her after 2 AM.

his Thai wife went to the pool party, left early to go to work but returned after 2 am ?
what type of work entrails working in late evening until early hours?

Better invest in a new one then.

Not all people with tattoos are criminals. But all criminals have tattoos. Better stay away.

I pity the poor neighbors.
