Phu Hin Rong Kla sees more tourists as weather gets cooler

PETCHABUN, 14 September 2014 (NNT) - Tourists have been flocking to Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park as the weather became cooler.

Head of the Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park Suwan Panunumpa said that more tourists have been enjoying cool weather of 20-25 degree Celsius in the national park area following days of rain shower and fog that have led to scenic views these days.

He said that the beauty of the park has been amplified by various types of wild flowers found all over the area.

Mr. Suwan expects a lot more visitors to come to the Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park in October when the transition of the season takes place, from the rainy season to the cool season.

Phu Hin Rong Kla, which covers three northeastern provinces of Phetchabun, Loei and Phitsanulok, was declared a national park on July 26, 1984. It has been known for the diversity of ecological system and for its being a former base of the Communist Party of Thailand (CPT).

The weather around Phu Hin Rong Kla, on average, is nice and cool all year round, at between 18 and 25 degree Celsius. Temperature can drop to an average of 4 degree Celsius in cool season.
