September 24, 201411 yr Been meaning to post this. I live in Rayong city itself. WE go to these places a lot. The California steak house on the roof is great. It's right on Suk Rd easy to find. They have two choices of the different type of steaks, Thai and imported, with about 300 baht diff between them. If you are going on the weekend i would book in advance as it does get busy http://www.kameocollection.com/kameogrand-rayong/dining.html The buffets on a weds night is a set price (can't remember the price off the top of my head) and i recommend it at No43. It's usually Italian but they do have special nights when they bring in a chef from Bkk or abroad. There lunchtime buffets are worth it also. I'd say either of these places are worth a visit from the lads and lasses that live up Ban Chang http://www.kantarycollection.com/kantarybay.../dining.html
September 24, 201411 yr Buffets are on Tuesday and Thursday nights at California Steak? Was there a couple of weeks ago. Very good food and value I must add. Two great places for eating out in Rayong City which is the other one?

I've not done the buffets on Tues and Thurs, will give it a try
September 24, 201411 yr ^Ok, thanks Franky. I thought it was the same link. I used to go to the No.43 Bistro quite often. Imo though, the place suffered when their manager moved to California Steak. Last time we went the food and service (a la carte, not buffet) was crap, and we vowed not to bother going back.

The Chef is Italian lad. The manager of the hotel is a French guy who's always got good chat. I've always found the service brilliant. They don't hang over you but always know when you need attention with out any fuss
September 24, 201411 yr Thanks for the update, Franky. Obviously a while since I've been there, I will try again.
