September 25, 201411 yr I have the lanuage bar pinned to the task bar as I often swith between languages, and now I have to use to mouse to click on the language bar etc, etc. Is there any way I can do the switch by programming a short cut key combination like e.g. Ctrl+X? If yes, then how do I go about doing it?
September 25, 201411 yr Windows key + <space> will cycle through your installed languages. EDIT Sorry that's W8, try it on W7 could well be the same. "I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"
September 25, 201411 yr On win 7, for me, 'Left Alt +Shift ' changes language. Believe can be changed through control panel.

September 25, 201411 yr Many THAI environments like to use the 'grave' [ ` ] key, located above the TAB key and next to the numeral '1', as the action key. On windows systems the key (or keys) can be determined or set by right-clicking the Language Bar Icon [ EN / TH, etc ], choosing "Settings..." and then the "Advanced Key Settings" tab.
September 25, 201411 yr Have had my computer for 4 years and never noticed the "grave" key...never used it AFAIK. Learn something every day.
September 26, 201411 yr Have had my computer for 4 years and never noticed the "grave" key...never used it AFAIK. Learn something every day. depends on your language on the keyboard I learned to type on a French keyboard layout and this key is the # key for me I reckon for other people it's shift-3 or something similar (maybe alt?) It's not lazyness that I don't check my keyboard but I type on a blank Das Keyboard (all keys are black)
September 26, 201411 yr You can change the shortcut to anything you like by going in the language options.. Left alt + shift is default.
