7 hour layover in Singapore

Featured Replies

I'll be flying back to Glasgow in November. One of the routes on business class would have me on a 7 hour layover in Singapore. It's been years since i have been there. Does that give me enough time to go into the city and brows about and get back in time?

(i am aware there is far quicker routes, but most don;t get me into Glasgow at a decent time unless i pay mega bucks)

Probably, immigration is usually pretty efficient and the Metro goes to the airport now so it's quick and cheap to get into town.

Personally, I'd probably jump in a cab to Changi Village for a beer or ten and something to nibble on.

I'm not fussed about drinking as I never drink when I travel. More interested in Orchard road area

Immigration will give you a four hour tour bus tour of the city for free (for transit passengers) except you wont be able to leave the bus, I used the same a few years ago, beats sitting in the airport.,

Cheers CM

Why would you fly backwards with a 7 hour layover?

Must have been a real cheap SA special.
