Hiv In Thailand

Featured Replies

If someone does test positive for HIV, is it possible at all to get rid of it?

Research still ongoing however so far there is no cure, not that I know of.

Some African woman (usually prostitutes) in certain areas have shown signs of being resilient to the virus, as they continually show HIV neg. results while all others around them are struck down by it.

Eight months ago a gay Scotsman was reputed to have 'cured' himself of the HIV. It was in the papers about it all over.

He tested HIV positive initially but six months later, no more HIV! The immune system he has must be harder than kryptonite!

His Doctor was amazed and the gay scot has now volunteered himself for assisting medical science in finding a cure! (Brave Lad).

But critics claim it may of been an ineffective strain of the virus, thus allowing his immune system to 'pounce on it' thus overwhelming it before it could 'fortify'. The 'normal' HIV strain it is said would not be defeated so easily.

Others even suggest the test results may of been wrong in the first place!

Its tempting to think of whether he's stood tall and asked the scientists to 'prove the critics wrong' and undergo a further fresh dose of the evil HIV...

Whatever the real story theres (as yet) been no word back from Mr 'HIV Proof' so assume it cannot be gotten rid off in 99.9 % of cases!
