seedy
The house I am moving into has just a single main breaker, and 3 circuits served by individual breakers. All the outlets and lights for the house are served by two breakers, and the third goes thru a wire from the main house to the kitchen/bath house close by. I would like to have a multi circuit main panel installed, Square D probably. Would it be advisable to install a secondary panel in the kitchen building, and have power to it run from the main breaker panel underground ? As the kitchen is closest to the gate, and I wish to install a power gate, this makes sense to me. Also - I imagine the best way would be to have PEA come and inspect the existing setup, and recommend changes. Then find an electrical contractor to do the work. Sound right ? And what are my chances of getting a complete three wire setup ? Thanks
