  • So you want to game the system.Would you do this in the west. This only makes it harder for the legit blokes. You don't think somebody scans TVF to see what we are up to!!!

  • They don't ask to see tickets out of the country.

  • Any bank will let you open an account without a work permit. But you will often be told at some branches that you need one. You just have to try different banks and branches. No tickets are needed at

Only one place, one of the consulates in Laos.

I had hope that it can be arranged in another country. I've been 3 times in Vientiane and 1 time in Savanakhet.

I had to replace a passport because in Vientiane (2012) they gave me a red stamp.

If there is no other possibility, I will be forced to drive there.

Thanks for your help !!

What is a red stamp?

Is it only in the passport and not in the computer records?

Single only elsewhere, unless you can provide a ticket out for each entry. Than you can try a double in Bali.

Bali will do a 2 or 3 entry tourist visa with 6 months validity. You would need to show tickets out for each entry 90 days apart.

Hanoi will do a 2 entry with tickets out. Manila also has been reported to do them with tickets out of the country.

In Vientian / Savanakhet I have to show tickets away from Thailand?

Red stamp:

Only in the passport. I I had a red stamp 2 times(Vientian and Penang). So I changed 2 times a passport and dont have any problems. This is Thailand :)

Not sure in this day and age how you would get just a booking.

My experience:

In Penang I got red stamp after 1 year and 1 month on tourist visas. To get the last single tourist visa (with red stamp), I had to show exit ticket from Thailand.
In Vientiane I got red stamp after 9 months on tourist visas, but they gave me at the same time double entry tourist visa.

They want to see fully paid tickets.

Vientian/Savanakhet the same??

Diffrent question: Do you know some bank, who opens an account without work permit ??

No tickets are needed at either location in Laos.

Is it not allowed to go twice a year to get 2 entry tourist visa each time?

Can switch consulates?

At the moment it would not be a problem. Vientiane has been known to do 3 of them back to back.

Super.

Do you know about the latest minivan departs from the airport in Udon Thani on the bridge?

How about the Thai consulate in Yangon? Do they issue double entry tourist visas? Are flights out of Thailand required? Thanks.

Probably until the last flight arrives that would allow getting to the bridge before it closes.

I have seen no recent reports of a 2 entry visa being done there. At one time they did them but the last report I recall was that a person was only able to get a single entry.

I have removed some abusive/troll posts plus replies to them.

Can I get a double entry in Manila (with showing airline tickets for both trips) ?

Yes it is possible if you have tickets to show.

Jakarta issue triples but again they want to see evidence of 3 paid up flights out of Thailand,i was there in June.I would email them before booking the flights to find out if the dates between flights can be 2 or 3 month, obviously with 3 month 'you' are 'assuming' you 'will' be granted a 30 day extension on each leg.And i'm not sure if this is acceptable.

When showing 2 paid tickets for a 2 entry travel Visa can each arrival & departure be 88 days apart if you planning to do a 30 day extensions? Or do the want to see under 60 days departures? Thanks!

Sent from my iPod touch using Thaivisa Connect Thailand

I would like to know this too. Also do they need to see the entry tickets too or can I just show the departure tickets (one way)? That might be a stupid question.

Either way I guess it doesnt matter to me, I plan to buy refundable tickets and cancel them after I get the visa, I don't want to truly lock myself in to the dates so early.

It depends upon where you get the visa. Some will want them 60 days apart and others up to 90 days.

Bali does them with 90 days separation.

How about Manila ? Guess I'll do 55 days just to be safe (cancelling anyway).

Are you thinking about buying full price fully refundable tickets?

Very expensive but with the advantages you can get a full refund when you cancel the ticket.

A 2 entry visa with an enter by date of 3 months seems to expect to be used back to back.

If someone wanted 3 months in Thailand then 3 months in another country then 3 months in Thailand then a 2 entry tourist visa wouldn't work.

Could you buy a train ticket or bus ticket outside Thailand to satusfy them?

That wouldn't cost much if you decided not to leave Thailand.

Or buy plane ticket to Laos to apply for your next visa.

Yes, it's not a big deal for me to float the credit until the refund processes (can use a card that wont even be due for 1.5 months).
