Good seat shop

Just had the seat on my Yam FZ09 reshaped by a small shop in Sukhumvit Soi 71. As you go down soi towards Klong Tan it's on LHS just before a footbridge between Soi 25 and Soi 31 (opposite a mosque and school).

Cost THB 2,000. They copied from a picture of a seat style I liked, flattening the slope at the front of the seat and basically making it more of "sit in" not "sit on" design. It's also a bit wider at the front now than the standard seat, which is really narrow a la motard style.

Took a couple of days and a sit on and see session but it's worked out really well and is way better for me than stock. No more sliding forward. Stitching also matches the rims now smile.png

Owner's name is "Noom" and his phone number is DELETED. Don't know if he speaks English (probably not much I'd guess). He says he's done some Ducati seats in the past.

My two penneth, a good looking neat seat is rarely a comfortable one, you can use the best foam on the planet and lose all that comfort with an over-tight cover. I had the cover loosened on my saddle and it made it much more comfortable. It did look a bit saggy, but give me comfort every day.

Better still, I once tried the saddle on an Enfield Bullet which had a kind of elasticated cover and it was heaven, I would love to find that material.

So get the guys to loosen things up a little.

Hi, that seat does indeed look good BKKBike09, nice one.

I also changed my PCX seat recently for a new one, good price (1800 bt) very soft & comfy smile.png

I tried to share the details with fellow members as there are many complaining about their PCX / Forza seats and the company I used (also in BK) were extremely professional and helpful, to the point of changing it FOC when I pointed out that the backrest wasn't set back to my spec (Yes, these ffolk even give you a choice of how far back to set it), DELETED
