Health Insurance For Newborn Not Yet Born?

We'd be grateful if anyone can help us understand how and where to obtain health insurance for a newborn due later this month.

We are open to purchasing insurance for the child alone, or for one or both of us if that was necessary to provide coverage for the newborn.

We are trying to find coverage that would be in effect immediately after birth or as soon after birth as possible.

Mother is Thai. Father is a foreigner.
