Visa runner given all clear at Suvarnabhumi Airport

Recommended Posts

I had 3 back to back visa exemption stamps, each lasting 15 days, during a stretch of period from December 2013 to February 2014.

Just last week I returned to Bangkok after an almost 8 month stay outside Thailand. I was only asked if I had a tourist visa for this particular trip, and I said 'no' because I was only going to be in Thailand for only 10 days. The IO smiled.

It seems that everything is back to normal. They are not looking at past records.

A Singaporean friend got rejected last week, he had some visa exempt, 1 tourist visa.

He works online for his own Singaporean company.

He went to S'pore to get some documents to enable him to marry his Thai girlfriend.

He got rejected and had to fly back to S'pore, yesterday he went to Thai embassy to apply for Tourist Visa.

I got in last week.

My passport has

3 -Visa waiver stamps

2 -triple entry tourist visas

1 -double tourist entry visa

In the last 3 months I've used 1 double tourist and one visa waiver. Each time they didn't ask me anything.

Did you get in based on Visa Exempt or a valid Tourist Visa?

And what was the time in between your entries.

The IO at Don Muang n Suvanabhumi are still very strict.
