Interesting post because I have meds to control high blood pressure.

The prescription is on the chip in my Spanish medical card.

Do you think they could read it.

Would they accept that?

We shall be making the trip soon and bringing our off the shelf vitamins as well.

Could this be a problem too?

We both take them and will be 7 months in the kingdom so there will be quite a lot.

Get a letter (in English) from your doctor explaining the medicine.

Also for the others, the Viagra users just get the Thai generic Sidegra.

I think we should not oversimplify things to the level "having the right to vote is good and the lacking it is bad". Let's consider that the right to vote also entails the responsibility for this vote. Responsibility for one's vote means that people understand politics and take responsibility—themselves (yes, themselves, rather than mindlessly dumping the blame on the authorities)—not only for their actions but also for their inaction. Situations vary. If a society is mature and truly accepts responsibility, then democracy is a viable option. With that in mind, you should be able to calmly accept the fact that the world (including the US) is moving more toward a model of democracy resembling Democratic Korea than the US model.
