Hi, friend in Thailand, sent by her employer to do a course which is nearly completed.

Ticket booked to return to a little African country 10 days after the planned completion of a intensive upgrade course.

I believe that she requires a visa to enter Thailand as a tourist.

Her employer has asked if she can get go to China for 4 days to inspect some machinery that the company is deciding between, her input would have the final say pretty much. Getting a visa for China looks like it will happen, (with some more docs), the issue is coming back to Thailand prior to returning to Africa.

She would at least have to clear customs here and would prefer to stay a couple of days.

Can a single entry Ed visa be changed ?

Can she get a re entry permit from imm to do this ?

I see some countries get a 15 day "visa on arrival" at a booth near King Power before customs passport line in arrivals (when entering), is there a list of these countries?

She could get a re-entry permit for the remainder of her 90 day entry at immigration. A single re-entry permit costs 1000 baht.
