chappie1207
Whilst at immigration the other day I went to the food court for lunch, as I walked around the small food stalls I passed one stall with a farang cooking and also serving the Thai immigration staff. How can he get a visa and work permit for this?
Popular Post Briggsy
He may have Thai nationality. He may not have Thai nationality but be a volunteer at Immigration. He may be neither of the above but be known to Immigration. Only someone just off the last plane would not understand that laws here are enforced selectively.

Mario2008
The secret is in the work description. You might not get a work permit serving food, but you can get one for cooking food.

Popular Post Gonsalviz
Why do you make this any concern of yours. The Thai government has people to take care of these things. If they do not, it still is no concern of yours.

Popular Post brianp0803
I have seen students at school that look foreign - even light brown hair but we're Thai and very poor English skills. Possibly the father abandoned the kids long ago. Can't judge by their face or color of their skin.

I doubt very much its a concern, i also doubt Chappie 1207 is loosing any sleep over this. Its an interesting notice, seeing a farang working in an immigration center. There are obviously reasons why and how this farang is working at the center, but sometimes, just sometimes, curiosity does get to some of us..

ScotBkk
The only way that you will find out for sure is go back and ask him and trust that he is telling you the truth! Or beat him up or threaten him with scalding water until he admits this terrible crime ... just a thought ...... More importantly who gives a flying f*%6 mate .. is it bothering you ? If so, get in touch with the Thai apologists they solve most of these scathing kind of crimes !! Edited October 21, 2014 by ScotBkk
