Trash mails not in trash

Featured Replies

Hi

I trash quite a few emails each day.

Occasionally I've done one too fast by mistake, just happened this morning......a source I'm not usually interested in, but just as it was going I noticed the content with interest......I almost caught myself but no too late.

Thing is when I then navigate to Trash to recover it it's not there.

There is stuff in Trash but it seems to be limited....but to what?

BTW the above is for iOS, but this is very relevant to 10.8 on my Air.

Who hasn't opened ...or semi opened....a draft then unthinkingly gone to edit it only to press delete and the whole draft disappears down the swanny and usually seems unrecoverable.
