What social media websites do you use in Thailand?

Featured Replies

What social media websites do you use here in Thailand? Do you consider that using these sites adds value and interest to your (expat) life?

Here are some popular sites:

1. Facebook

2. Google +

3. Linkedin

4. Pinterest

5. Instagram

There are numerous other sites, too, and lots of apps geared to mobiles.

I use Facebook and Twitter. How about you?

It seems the other thread was removed.

On a serious note

Facebook and LinkedIn , which is more than enough for me to be honest for my personal uses.

Never really got into the Twitter thing.

Twitter is quite good for following local news. From a thread on this forum's news section, I learned about a guy who's following the KT murder case. He represents the interests of the two Burmese kids.

Richard Barrow (also on Twitter) was a great source of news during the Red Shit Shirt clampdown in Bangkok.

Yeah, agree that Richard Barrow is a good news source for up to the date stuff, and I do click on that and read when something is happening, like demonstrations etc...

The other guy you may wish to follow is Andy Hall.

Andy Hall , yes another good source. I do hope he gets his legal issues sorted out. He seems like a decent bloke who is trying to make a difference, although sadly the cards are stacked against him
