Johpa
Anyone know either the medical term in Thai for pertussis or perhaps a more common Thai euphemism such as whooping cough as used in the west or 100-day cough as used in parts of Asia? And now that I have your attention, next time you visit your doctor, check up on whether you are due for a booster vaccine. Trust me, you do not want to suffer as I have suffered these past two months. It is a horrible affliction and yes it can infect us adults whose immunity has waned. Johpa
โรคไอกรน (Pertussis) Thanks, but I take no comfort that it implies that my father in-law is not the only Thai with a hellacious snore.
