The 1st Thailand Ultra Marathon has just been held up in Mae Hong Son area. It was a major success, both for the event and also for the local communities. Hopefully the organisers will find enough sponsors to put on an even better event next year.

The atmosphere, location and the people made this one of the best races I have been part of. It was my 1st 50km race and it was brutal, 12.5hrs gives you very sore legs :)

Just wanted to let people know about it and maybe some will take part next year.
