Is Tequila Reef on Soi 7 closed?

Featured Replies

Two friends were in pattaya recently and both reported "closed" ...

An entry on Google maps indicate 'permanently closed'...

Anyone really know???

Well if its closed forever its all for the better...Great location but the food has been going

downhill for years, and pricey to boot...

The wife has been there last week with friends and it was definitely open.

On Facebook they are advertising Halloween buffet for tomorrow Oct 31.

I agree the food has been going downhill for years. Less business noticeable too.

I hope so... THE WORST EXCUSE FOR MEXICAN FOOD IN THE WORLD....

They probably we closed so they could make the food for the Holloween buffet... That way it can be cold, undercooked and NASTY just like the Thanksgiving buffet....

The Mexican food looked good, but tasted bad. What a disappointment. I have heard that it was good many years ago, before an original owner/chef left and started a good BBQ chain and a very decent Mexican restaurant in Bangkok that did not last long because of a lousy location.

It must have been a long time ago because I remember it was terrible 7 or 8 years agobah.gif

Not a place that most who have eaten there return to, other than to check if they had an "off" night.

Some even give them a third try but very few a fourth.
