See the kangaroo court is back up and running full steam ahead.

Don't worry about evidence or a fair trial lets just put on an show and have her impeached within 25 days .

Bugger all the outstanding class about the yellow elite dems let's just hang her high and let's get the nation on board as that's the bible for the yellow dems they just lap this up.

Worst case scenario for the dems is a 5 year ban as thus will just outrage the the people of Thailand who elected her through the democratic process as she will come back bigger and better than ever.

Also nice tactics while she is away hoping she won't come back.

Last time she went overseas the yellow junta supporters on here were cock a hoop and steadfastly stated that she would never return.

Well she came back and left egg over all their faces and have a look their thirsty for more.

Anyway wouldn't blame her not coming back as they are pulling out all stops to discredit her via media before they charge her under the 2007 act which was ruled illegal in another case.

Give it a rest Parrot....you are starting to believe your own stutterings.

For a government that is so focused on returning Thailand to democracy, its handling of the complaint against Yingluck would seem to mock democracy and the rule of law.

rickirs; The UDD, PTP, Thaksin, Yingluck were a mockery of democracy. Need an illegal passport? Have your cousin run one out to you, then ignore repeated summons from the Ombudsman. Want to buy some votes? perpetrate a 500 billion baht fraud on the taxpayers. Want a proxy to make sure that you maintain power and influence while on the run? Appoint a brother in law, sister or a national disgrace of a man, Samak. Nearly every member of the Shin clan banned for 5 years or convicted on criminal charges, WHILE the Shins were in charge. One can only imagine what it would have been like if they weren't.

So only a political ban. Nothing criminal.

This will set a delicioua precedent for the future.

If this is only to be a political ban then all is lost in Thailand, it will lose ALL credibility. This applies to anyone guilty of criminal neglect etc.

He said Yingluck should not be blamed for the losses in the rice-pledging scheme because as PM she had the duty of taking care of farmers just like PM Prayut Chan-o-cha does.

Now there would be a great reason for her to be blamed.

She did not do her duty to take care of the farmers.

They are deeper in debt than they have ever been, 20% of the rice they grew and trustingly sold to the Yingluck administration is now inedible, another 70% is in poor condition.

For more reasons read yesterdays editorial in the BKK post "Time for rice graft justice"

The NCPO concluded its rice audit in July 2013 and found that the rice in less than 10% of the government stockpile stored in provencial granaries was poor or bad. At that time Gen. Prayut announced that the remaining 90+% would be sold off at a rate of 500,000 tons per month. TV published this Nation article.

And 3 days ago we have an update :

Posted 2014-10-29 09:37:02

PM: Only 10 percent of 18 million tonnes of rice in stockpiles are good

BANGKOK: -- Only 10 percent of the 18 million tonnes of rice in stockpiles since June are of good quality and in good condition, 70 percent of them are of poor quality with the grains turn yellowish and the rest 20 percent have become rotten and inedible, said Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha on Tuesday.

Now could the previous report have been a misreport or misinterpretation ?

We still have the same 10% but now it is that the 10% is the good stuff not the bad.

There is still 80% which is salable only the bulk will not fetch top prices.

You have to remember that it is not the General doing the investigation or even the reporting he is only reading what is put in front of him on these things so crossed wires can not always be attributed to him for he cant double check everything his staff put in front of him.

There are also reporters and translation from Thai to English involved so understandable there will be conflicting reports at times.

Still you believe whichever suits you.

I'm a bit confused.... They went from Japan to China...?? Was there not another news report saying they went from Japan to India...?

The India bit was put off, it seems because there were to be several ex MT MP's going there to meet up with them for 'merit making'.

Anyone who opposes your view is a troll or gets abused so do yourself a favour and ignore me.

Now what Yingluck should do is just ignore any court proceedings oases brought against and just hide out in a temple like Sutep!

Oh hang he's only got the mass murder of civilians over his head.Lucky for him he wears the the right coloured yellow bullet proof shirt.

The buck Didn't stop with abhisit or sutep ordering the slaughter of civilians.

Yellows get a free ride reds get a bullet.

Eg yellows block an international airport cause massive disruption around the world because they can't win.

End result untouchable!

Ordering the slaughter of civilians ??? REDS have never been at fault, it is always the others according to the sand dune spokesperson.

Please note the diversion used by Mr. Parrot.

The reds had a considerable arsenal,.................................. the yellows ??................

Had the Army.

I have no qualms about Yingluck and it will be doubtful whether the case will have much merit, however some of the others that surrounded and lead Yingluck down the rice (Garden) path should be prosecuted, that is what I would like to see , Yingluck is only one of many involved.

Not sure why they are trying to legitimize the prosecution of the previous government with all this obfuscation?

Just do what Thai Police/Military are so good at: Cart her off to a Military camp, use some "enhanced interrogation" techniques (water, electricity, plastic bag), get her to confess to whatever you want, then cart her out a rice warehouse with a helmet and vest and have her point at some dodgy rice. Case closed, problem solved.
