But costs seem to vary quite a bit depending on location.

Im planning to get married this dec. to my lovely thai girlfriend.

She is originally from Chiang mai, grew up in Bangsaen (near or in chonburi), and now works in BKK. Family is what i would guess middle class. nice car, many properties, several businesses. Although money is not always plentiful, they seem to have many assets.

We are planning to get married in Bangsaen, or Chonburi.

Im not sure where the AM monk ceremony will take place, but the evening will be held at a hotel.

I was wondering what you would estimate for costs.

about 100 guests.

Cost of hotel/food (for evening party)

Cost of AM and PM wedding dresses rental

Cost of hair and make up

Cost of music - live band

Cost of photo/video of morning and evening ceremonies

Cost of wedding cake

anything else?

well i found out the answers as my gf did some shopping around. Will post just incase ppl are interested.

hotel in chonburi:

3500 baht - banquet room rental

40000 baht - 400 baht x 100 guests food and drinks

26000 baht - 2 dress, 2 mens clothing, photo, invitation, presents package (said to be very hi-so)

10000 baht - morning ceremony, monks...etc.

79500 baht - total cost.

will probably need to hire a van or two, and who knows what else.

Make it a round 100,000 but you hold onto the difference then you will not be shocked later. Have a wonderfull wedding. Good Luck
