Chao Lao Beach
Anyone remember the name of the form you need to provide when SWIFTing money abroad from Thailand. I mean, when you wire money to Thailand, you can get a form from the bank confirming that the funds came in from and this is good to release your own money out of the county. MiclB
Don't know the form number, but.. last year I had around 400,000B in a passbook/ATM account with Bangkok Bank. I simply walked into the local branch and told them where in the USA to send it, basic stuff--act #, swift code, tel #, etc. In and done about 7 minutes. No hassle. jimmybkk
If you're sending money to Thailand to buy property you would ask for a Foreign Exchange Transaction Form (used to be Tor Tor 3).
ezzra
Is this is what you're looking for? Remittance out of ThailandWhenever transferring money out of Thailand because the foreigner has sold the condominium a copy of the original FET-form and/or credit note together with the land office sale agreement and the land office tax receipt is required for transferring money tax free out of Thailand. Chao Lao Beach
I have sent via SWIFT over the years of baht form an account abroad, I have been denied by Bangkok Bank to try and SWIFT a tiny fraction back to my own account to pay for insurance. I need a FET for apparently which I can't seem to get. I am absolutely lost for words.
