Kasikorn announced that their Cyber Banking would be down for scheduled maintenance from 22.00 last night, the 7th, until 09.30 this morning.

All their ATM's were going to be offline during the same period, you wouldn't be able to use other ATM's, I'm not sure if you could use a debit card in a shop or restaurant though.

I'd forgotten about this until I went to draw some cash out last night, I wonder if 22.00 on a Friday was a good time for a shut down, but I assumed they must have decided that was the best time.

The system didn't come back at 09.30, they then put a message on their website saying it would be back at 14.00 and that has now been changed until 12.00pm.

I don't know if the ATM's are still not working or if you can use a card in a retailer, I suspect that there are a lot of disgruntled customers out there, I'm one of them

Panic over, it's back.
