Coming from Maenam yesterday, turning left at light towards Fisherman's Village, I saw a big sign on the right advertising a new beach club (B R Sea Beach Club) coming soon to Bangrak.

Anyone know where it will be? When it is opening?

I think that it is the old Daetong restaurant. (It is in that location.) Sign just reads 'coming soon'

Let's hope it's not as noisy as Banraks last beach club and if it is let's hope it doesn't last as long!

Since the sign also says "resort" there might be chance for not having loud music all night.

I was told a couple of months ago its scheduled to open in December.

they are doing a lot of work on it including new deck and pool

Was passing by this afternoon, so popped in for a look. All dark wood decking around a swimming pool and a big covered bar area. Lots of tables and a few sunbeds, and what looked like a dj booth, but not sure.

Beach looks very narrow (about 8 feet) at about 2:30. Don't know if it gets much wider at low tide along there as it shelves quite steeply.

Nowhere near as big as Beach Republic. A few workman still hanging about, so probably not quite finished.

I just hope they do good food...and don't have all night loud parties.

The beach was much wider there today morning (8am), at least 5 meters, probably a few more. Anyhow its narrow quite often.
