Just a quickie. I've finally been offered a job in Thailand, hurrah!

The lawyers for the outfit I'm going to work for say I have to have a non-B before I can get a work permit.

I really don't want to give up my new (2 months ago) marriage extension.

Is it possible to get a WP on a marriage extension? (I'm sure it used to be, anything changed?)

You can get a work permit. There have been no changes.

Just be sure a copy of your marriage certificate is included with application.

Just ill informed lawyers or as in some cases not wanting you to do it for business reasons. They make more money getting you the B visa and an extension for working.

Yes you can work on a marriage extension, I did it for years. It's up to the labor office that you have to use. Most allow it but there are a few that don't.
