Was with the photographer when this pic was taken on the hill en route to Chalong from Kata. The traffic was stopped for hours to try and sort out this mess (could not leave my house close by for over 3 hours). On first try the crane lifted some of the concrete slabs gently lowering the vehicle with the driver inside (guess what - yakking on his mobile!!! "Hi Honey - guess where I am right now?"). Suddenly the chain snapped, the concrete fell onto the back of the truck and whooosh - the vehicle shot back into the air again, just missing the telephone lines!!! Whilst this was going on the traffic police were all smiles and nods neatly posing for their pics to be taken as well. Talk about the LOS!

Yeah, yeah.... nice pic!!! Meanwhile, I've been without - either- electricity or ADSL - twice a week now - for about 2 mths - while these Klowns are busy having their photos taken no warning - just shut me down.... who cares that I spend my life promoting Thailand to the world...... whatever!!!!!!!!
