Don't think that's going to happen chooka.

Mum ain't a resident and no reciprocating jurisdiction to Thailand AFAIK.

I know of one lady living in our estate in Chiangmai who had a relationship with an Aussie and had a child. They resided as husband and wife for a couple of years in sydney where the child was born. The relationship broke down and she returned to Thailand with the child and receives child support garnished from the ex through the child support agency. There maybe different situations I'm not totally sure.

Same here chooka.

I think/thought mum had to be a resident but maybe not.

https://victimsofgaybullying.wordpress.com/2014/12/28/auspol-abcnews24-gov-tv-praises-illegal-unlicensed-criminal-human-trafficking-new-life-surrogacy-centre-for-selling-babies-to-gay-men/

Well the surrrogacy centres claimed by Thai news to be closed by the police are still operating illegally. I went there in person and I have the video if anyone doubts me!

Yes this is the same surrogacy centre that sold some of the babies to the Japanese busienssman as well as numerous gay dads baby buyers.

Here in vietnam the US just put in a Gay Dad US ambassador who doesn't like me exposing all the Australian Gay Dads Baby Buyers to thailand who broke 10C NSW Crimes Act - 2 years jail for paying Thai Women to use their body parts to breed them.

The Thai news isn't telling the truth. My passport stamps show when I visited thailand last december and my video of my raid on this surrogacy centre shows they are still operating! See all the evidence on the link above.

Chooka go you good thing. Great minds think alike.

Yes the CSA should hit them up, as they go of "who is the biological father" under legislation.

I tried to comment and mention this fact since day one but newscorp won't publish that. It's nice to see great minds think alike.

Someone needs to educate this Thai woman on her rights to bankrupt this convicted pedophile from WA.

Child support works if the Australian citizen lives abroad too if the other country has signed onto that provision of the hague convention.

I'm pretty sure (for the reasons stated above) that CSA cannot touch this guy.

isdiction.

I'm pretty sure (for the reasons stated above) that CSA cannot touch this guy.

Two letters B.S.

Once baby gammy's mother get's on the plane at the very least the pedophile has to pay the upkeep for his own seed.

They chose to bring Baby gammy into the world, and if they chose not to they were also asking to murder in the womb the healthy twin of Baby Gammy now in custody of an Australian man with 20 something child sex convictions.

But back to the point. The pedophile baby buyer (hetro) in the Baby Gammy case isn't going to get a free ride. Others are worse than him. Indian surrogates have DIED breeding for gay man and have got no compensation. You have to go looking for the facts. I've done so much research and I have a backlog of things to blog about this.

Wow, that's a fair old rant but you still haven't really proved anything.

Assuming Gammy's mother did get a visa for Australia, which is highly doubtful, she still isn't a resident of Australia.

And as I said previouslly, Thailand is not a reciprocating jurisdiction.

So, I stll stand by my original statement that CSA cannot touch this guy.

Would be happy to be proven wrong though.

Maybe you can quote some CSA legislation that supports your argument.

The mum isnt entitled to welfare before all the cynics arc up...

The kid however is entitled to australian citizenship and should be a beneficiary of everything that comes with it.

don't welfare recipients actually need to be residents?
Exactly. My wife is a kiwi, who has unrestricted rights to live and work in Australia, but her entitlements to welfare are exacty zero as she is technically not a permanent resident.

Gammy's mum has every right to be sponsored by little Gammy to come and live in australia. Upon receiving the visa she'll have rights to welfare. That much is true.

I suggest the knockers and cynics on this thread look up how long it takes to issue such parent visas.

Current waiting times are around 30 years....

In Gammy's case, he will need to be resident there, but as per other australian citizens he can turn up and have immediate access while there. It's just if he leaves again before 12 weeks centre link will cut off payments. He should have access to medicare, but he'll need to register first. I dare say over the course of his life he might need some medical and other assistance depending on his condition...and as an australian citizen he should have access to that help.

Who cares how long it takes to get a parent visa, there should be no such animal. Why should people that never contributed a cent to a country be entitled to come and live there and get welfare just because their child emigrates to that country?

By all means allow them to live in the country as long as the child supports them, including medical insurance, but of course it's all about expecting other people to pick up the tab.

It's scams like this that have made western countries broke.

Try that BS in Thailand and see how long it takes before they start to laugh at you.

Just curious - how many here see Australia's welfare system as sustainable over the course of Gabby's life ?

If Gabby lives more than 20 years- NO.
