Chiengmaijoe
Does anyone own or rent a condo in this area? It seems a bit quieter and relatively undeveloped compared to Nimmanheimin and it seems to be popular with Japanese. I'm looking for a value for money condo and places like Changklan Resident and Galare Thong seem to fit the bill, but I'd like to know if anyone has any experience of these sort of places or recommendations in this area. kalbo123
You are right Chiangklan rd is ok,but beware that heavy rain or a river flooding is a big problem when it happens on Chanklan rd, the street will turn in a river!

Indeed Galare Thong tower had awful problems during the floods. That being said, I much prefer that area to Nimmanheimin. Is Changklan Resident the one with the big snooker hall next door? Chiengmaijoe
Countryman, it is to rent out,I assume you are happy there? Kalbo123, flooding in Chiang Mai is about once every 5 years and wouldn't often extend that far.

Apart from that they are nice apartments.
