DTV Extension - DO NOT waste your time trying to extend at immigration
Goalposts moving. The requirements for extension of DTV permission to stay were published a couple of months ago. Jomtien appear to need more. You may be more right than you realise. Jomtien seem to be using some of the Non-Imm B / WP regulations as a guide. Self-employment is definitely permitted. Here is the requirement "Employment contract or employment certificate in their country or professional portfolio showcasing digital nomad, remote worker, foreign talent or freelancer status" In fact there was a poster last week who seemed to get a DTV based on managing his own investments! -
