As some might have seen Buddy Broadband has some good deals on DSL. Their prices are about half of True.

256k for 290baht

512k for 400baht

1mb for 500baht

(for international sites)

Now question is how good is the service? Has anyone got Buddy DSL, how is it?

Samart also has a deal for 512k for 590baht, anyone have this service?

Well, I guess it really doesn't matter which provider you use.

BB's forum is very small (actually only 2 topics), but one of them is titled 'Internet Slow'

I used Buddy for about 6 months a few months ago. Their web site access, both local and international, was pheonomenal. Nearly always at full speed (1mbit), at all times. A big, nay HUGE, improvement over the SME True package I had.

But... Buddy's service is only good for website access. For anything else (P2P, VOIP, gaming, etc) it's junk. You'll be lucky to get 10% speed on anything.

So, if your needs are only on web surfing, it's an awesome deal. Otherwise, it's not good.
