Anyone had experience of housebuilders/recommendations in this area and approximate current build costs please.

Can't help you with a builder in your area....BUT am presently building a 400 sq meter building (5 units). It's being built with double walls (2 inch syrofoam inside), double glazed 12mm glass, 5 built in kitchens and 9 bathrooms. Cost ...10,000 baht sq meter (80% done )

Hope you know something about construction as you have to watch the workers constantly to show them what to do AND to make sure they do what they're supposed to do!

Second the suggestion to stay close to the work. I have built several houses and was there every day for at least an hour, usually more. Check the work for quality and that it follows the plans. But make sure to stay out of the way and do not try to direct the workers directly, tell the supervisor on site.
