And that's why you gotta be quick. Whack and off you go. And a fast bike helps.

Looks good, but I would turn right at Chumphon staying on HWY 4. I had a few trips South, and I like staying on the Andaman sea cost side, rather than GOT side, which is flat and boring but if your goal to get somewhere fast then staying on AH-2 is a better way. My last trip South earlier this year, I rode to Satun staying on AH-2 and back on HWY 4 all the way to Chumphon. Unfortunately the weather was shit coming back and I was getting soaked under a heavy rain every 3-4 hours so didn't enjoy the scenery very much.

Ok made the first part today. Perfect weather to ride sunny but a nice breeze which keeps you fresh, also light traffic i was able to do bkk- prachuab kiri khan in 3 hours including 2 stops. So i decide to take some rural roads down to chumporn. Took a left on to 3169 to bang saphan then 3374 down the coast 3411, 3253 and 3201 until saphli where i am staying now. The rural roads are ok but mostly through forests cant see the coast much anyway always enjoying to see and meet the folks in the villages you are passing. Great ride so far, until now no need to punch off a mirror ;)

Today Chumpohn- Khao Lak; went the first section straight down AH2 then took a right onto 4006. Wow nice roads there, nice curves and some scenic. Then continuing on the 4 which i was surprised is in great condition nice and wide and alot of high speed curves. I must say the 899 is made for roads like this so easily to maneuver through twisties and always a great power response. Me and the bike is getting one.

Today i had a short but stunning ride again Khao lak - krabi. Sorry i didn't remember which way exactly i go for sure the 4 but then going off some rural road which was going up and down the hills along tiny but nice roads. When i planned this trip i thought it wouldnt be so nice in terms of riding; but i was wrong the south has a great mix off fast roads and nice curvy rural roads, also quite some nice destinations to stop.
