Hi, first post newbie, be gentle with me...

I'm hoping to move to BKK to stay with my Thai girlfriend, my current skillset is in IT / Graphic design, I was thinking that perhaps teaching these skills could be an option? I have accreditation for training through my present UK job. And was thinking that a TEFL qualification, although perhaps irrelevant, wouldn't hurt either?

Does anyone know if there are any/many opportunities for this in Thailand? I've saw plenty of posts on teaching English but nothing like this.

Any help greatly appreciated!

If you're any good, and are experienced beyond 4 or 5 years, would be far better money to find some clients for whom you can work remotely using your skills.

Not sure of the answer to the exact question you ask I am afraid, there are a few foreign heads of IT etc at the schools for sure, so it's possible. I'm sure others will know more about how in demand teaching with those as a specialism would be - would suspect far less in demand in terms of openings for foreigners than teaching English.
