Can anyone recommend a shop that sells fine-quality black teas, like high-grade Earl Grey? (I mean loose tea to make yourself.)

Might help if you told people what area you are in ?

Stay with black tea. If you carry loose green tea back to Sukhumvit you might have a problem.

There is a Sukhumvit in most major cities, I'll guess you mean Bangkok and move this to that forum for local knowledge.

i used to enjoy the thai tea until i read the packet and discovered that it had chemical colouring mixed with it

now i wont touch it

I am looking for a source of good oolong tea. The stuff i buy in the supermarket (big c) is often damaged and turned to powder. I did get some good oolong tea in JJ supermarket. So i might go there again.

China Town everywhere .. mostly greens.

I found some nice Oolong months ago at Villa (in Pattaya) and since then it's been out of stock. Also found some at Big C Extra and that too has disappeared from the shelves.
