Never did one - thought it about time.

Took MIL house book, passport, GF. Made copies X2 of everything. 2 foto.

Into main office, asked where do we go. Lady said the office with double doors. Only one we could find was Investigation.

Went in, was served right away. Girl was a little confused, so one of the senior men came over, pointed to a book, said to her that in here is everything you need to know. !!!

They allowed my GF to sign, as the house book is in her Moms name. Nice one.

Issued me 2 receipts to staple into my passport showing that I had filed the change of residence.

Only snafu was the girl said we had to go to Immigration across the road from Promenada. Went there, another senior man asked for my passport, saw the two receipts, took our remaining paperwork and chucked it into the garbage !! Said we are all done.

Lunch in Promenada.

What do you mean.. I never have informed a change of residence only done 90 day reports.. ( I know theres a law from the 70s but address reporting when you move hasnt been enforced for decades)..

You dont mean getting the yellow house book do you ?? I as told I needed a long list of things including the poo yai baans assistance..

Moms house book is blue.

Was told that since the change of government that you must notify Immigration when you change your address.

Guest house and hotels do it for you, but if moving into a private residence they want to know where you are prior to the required 90 day report.

If I want to get my name in the blue book, the Poo Yai will help us. More drawn out affair I am sure.
