Pretty sure Tom07 is a troll but I would like to know about Christmas and New Years.

It appears I was overly optimistic about Thanksgiving but I have seen a few hotels offering Christmas and New Year activities. Some seem to have already sold out. The Expat club was selling tickets for this next weekend, I believe, but I don’t know if there are any left.

My wife got a few invites but I am reluctant to subject her to some of the more hateful residents of Chiang Rai. I don’t trust them to be civil when they are around me.
There is always the countdown at the clock tower and the flower festival is being advertised on signs around town. This is a busy time of year with lots of private parties as well.

i want to be in phuket

where 10 years ago we survival from tsunami

and where i live for 16 years.

need to go there to pray watch the sea and think a little beat.
