Hi all,

I discovered compassionate and empathetic communication also known as Non-Violent Communication (NVC) when I took an ecovillage course in Northern Thailand in an eco community as part of the subject. It struck a note in myself, as I struggled to feel my feelings and was probably in denial of my needs. Later I started to read the book and started to apply it in some areas of my personal life and it has left quite a profound impact on my life, especially when I attended one of the workshops in Europe. So since then I tried very hard to search for people who share this passion of wanting to hear people out of compassion and not judgment and to be free to share their feelings and opinions in a safe space.

So I'm helping to organize some workshops related to compassionate and empathetic communication. Abroad, workshops like these cost a leg and an arm. So this time around in Thailand, the organizer has agreed to do this workshop in gift economy (donations)with some minimal deposit to cover the flight, food and accommodation.
