Can anyone recommend a decent hotel ( 1000-1500baht ) within walking distance of Chatuchak weekend market.

I know there's a lot online at Agoda etc but i'm not familiar with that area.

its on the skytrain and mrt so why need to walk?

An alternative for most would be any hotel with access to skytrain - this is not a tourist area for hotels and restaurants so might be better to stay elsewhere.

Ok, perhaps i should have said within a km or two, 'walking distance' was a figure of speech.

There seems to be plenty hotels on Agoda / booking.com for Chatuchak, anyone know how close the Elephant Tower is?
