Being owned/backed by 'big guys' contributes to success about this much || these days. Market share is either something you get by being the first of the best, or by spending down investors money on marketing and promotions, until the ship sinks.

Investors in this space know that you only need 1 in 100 investments to work - backing is not a indicator of confidence as much as it's hedging bets. I guess I just answered my original (rhetorical) question
