Mike West
Hi there, just wondering how long is the visa extension for a passport that normally gets 90 days upon entry? on the tourist visa website they only mention up to 60 days. Anyone know for a 90 day tourist stamp how long a person can extend for? Visitors entering on the 60-day tourist visa are still eligible for the extra stay of 30 days as per normal. ubonjoe
There is no 90 day tourist visa. A tourist visa only gives a 60 day entry that can be extended for 30 days. Perhaps you are confusing a tourist visa with a 90 day visa exempt entry for those from a country that has a bilateral agreement with Thailand for them. For these there is no 30 day extension possible.

ubonjoe
There is no extension you can get for an entry based upon a bilateral agreement other than for medical treatment or if married to a Thai or have a Thai child.
mahjongguy
Korea, Brazil, Peru, Argentina and Chile get 90 days visa exempt at airports and at land borders. There is no extension possible for such entries without such circumstances as above. Edited December 22, 2014 by mahjongguy
