Sakon Nakhon ?

Having a real hard time finding any decent accommodation here, very little on the net, just the hotels.

Anyone got any tips/clues or help they could give me ?

Stayed at the Imperial once. Just average. Look at "TripAdvisor" and enter city. Over a dozen options in SN.

Thanks for the replies so far, but they are all hotels, I am looking for long term accommodation, such as a nice large room or better still a small house.

Try ddproperty.com. or go with a Thai friend, or get a Thai friend, to ride/drive around the sois, looking for 'To Rent' signs in Thai, and get them to phone the #'s shown. Landlord's usually come out really quickly to show u around. Thats what I do in Nakhon Phanom.

Go to Apple bar or the Pit Stop and ask the owners for info.

Yeh went to Apple's, but because it is so far from where I work, they didn't know of anywhere near me. :-)
