So we're all used to the horizontal adverts at the bottom of posts. Not too intrusive by and large. But now we're getting adverts at the right hand side of the posts that are compressing the text in the posts into a long narrow form that make for very difficult reading, especially if it's a wordy post. Sure, it makes the advert more visible than the ones that were horizontal across the bottom of a post, but guys, it sure makes for an ugly looking page. This is especially so when a full size photo is posted as it stretches the page sideways and means you have to scroll left/right if you're not using a big screen.
