Can someone explain why Gilbeys's Gin and Vodka apparently from the Philippines appear, in spite of 40% label on bottle, to contain almost zero alcohol. If I drank a bottle of Smirnoff I would be half dead..bottle of Gilbeys...any beer there?

Wandered why that Brand Gin and Vodka were so cheap. You may have found the answer.

Stick a bottle of Smirnoff and Gilbeys both in the freezer and see if any freeze.

BTW That's before you open them, not the empties

It works for me. Maybe I just don't need much alcohol any more.
