January 6, 201511 yr Never done this before I just need to know how much data you would use from a plug in wi-fi connection that has a monthly package this is in OZ on Telstra downloading or streaming what is best.
January 6, 201511 yr It will depend on a few factors. Length of film, quality of film, compression, and type of compression. If you are getting it from torrents, they normally give the file size. To give you a rough idea, you might try to go to the iTunes store online, Search for, and select the film you want, if you look at the information, it normally shows the size and compression. e.g. A Most Wanted Man. Length 2hrs 1min, 720p HD = 4.3GB, but only =1.82 SD (Standard Definition). Of course if you opt for 1080p HD, the file will be even bigger. Downloading or streaming will still use almost the same amount of data, as there might be some different information with each file. Not too sure. If you can't access iTunes, you might be able to find similar info on Amazon's video store, or something similar.
