Can You Take A Bunny? Please Help!

Featured Replies

Hi, I've done something really stupid.... I'm only visiting Thailand and am leaving for Japan on the 25th, but the other day I bought a baby rabbit. Now I'm desperate to find him a good home before I leave... can anyone help??? The bunny is an adorable Netherland dwarf; white with black markings; supposedly a boy. He was suffering from heat exhaustion but now he's in great health (as far as I can see - you'd have to take him to the vet to be sure): firm droppings, no runny eyes or nose, very active and curious and so sweet. Please reply if you can take him or even foster him until you can find a permanent home. I'm in Bangkok and will go to meet you anywhere.

Thank you in advance...

Suggest that you take it back to where you bought it from? :o

If you can't find a home there's always another solution....

Sorry - only joking :o

my mother cooked a lot rabbit....

Actually I don't understand why eating the rabbit is shocking, while eating a pig is normal (young pigs are lovely, and pigs are a lot smarter than rabbits).....

Thanks Lacoste, I just PMed her and hope she'll reply. Johnb, I can't take him back to where I got him because the only reason I bought him to begin with is that I was horrified by the conditions he was being kept in, and thought he'd die of heatstroke if he was left there much longer. I just hope someone can give him a good home, even if only a foster one... anyone?

btw I'm sorry in my original post I said I'd travel anywhere; I meant anywhere in Bangkok...
