Gay Poets

Featured Replies

:o Over thirty years ago I was introduced to the poetry of a Greek/Alexandrian poet by the name of Constantin Cavafy. Since movies get a fair amount of exposure on this forum decided to introduce something different. Not everyones cup of cammomille but this guy was writing in the 20's and 30's...I like his work and just wanted to share one with you, it may evoke something especially for those who acknowledge the beauty of youth...

THE NEXT TABLE

He must be scarcely twenty-two years old.

And yet I am certain that nearly as many

years ago, I enjoyed the very same body.

It isn't at all infatuation of love.

I entered the casino only a little while ago;

I didn't even have time to drink much.

I have enjoyed the same body.

If I can't recall where - one lapse of memory means nothing.

Ah see, now that he is sitting down at the next table

I know every movemment he makes - beneath his clothes,

once more I see the beloved bare limbs.

There are numerous websites for this man. Enjoy :D Dukkha

Lovely, thanks.

I Just Want To Teach

Got importuned by a man on a beach

With the greatest of ease,

he caught a disease.

On the end of his knob now sits a leech.

Sorry, thats the best I can do in 2 minutes before lunchbreak over.

:o You go Papa Boy....great....!!! :D Dukkha

Peace Blondie sired thirteen strong sons,

In those days before he was gay.

They said, "He's so fertile, he conceives,

Twenty four hours a day."

But the bottomless well soon ran dry

and the tadpoles had nowhere to go.

Grecian heresy slowly took over,

The fate of that one libido.

Papa Laz.

<now 5 more minutes closer to going home time>

There once was a man named PL

Who liked things to go all pell-mell;

He decided one day

To pretend he was gay

And found it was no easy sell.
